Jackson and I celebrated my 41st birthday at the zoo together - scoping out the desert, visiting our friends at the Jungle, and saying Hi to my favorite little critters - the Harvest Mice! We topped it all off with a new movie at the IMAX - Backyard Wildlife. It was a gorgeous, wintry day with snow flurries trickling from the sky as we walked around enjoying the season change. With the zoo practically to ourselves, I was soaking up every moment and relishing this thing called Homeschool. I got to spend the whole day with my son. What a blessing.
