While there seems to be a little controversy for those with autoimmune diseases (like my Hashimoto's), fermented foods like sauerkraut have been staples for thousands of years, and their benefits are proven. My son and I enjoy this brand in all it's wonderful flavors, and eat a little bit before each meal.
I have found great success with this method in curing my low stomach acid / GERD symptoms, as well as healing my gut from chemo. And I crave this like nothing ever before, and research suggests that's because the good bacteria in my gut is feeding on it and craves it too!
